Dinner with his Mother was turning out to be a success. Jared was thankful that the topic shifted focus from Jenny and his relationship to Nathan and Jessie’s. Jared just smiled when his Mother asked Nathan when was she finally going to be a grandmother. “Give us time. We don’t want to rush into anything. It will happen when it happens.” answered Nathan meanwhile Jessie just looked down concentrating on her cheesecake. “You know, just to be safe, you two should think about having your sperm and eggs frozen.” informed Betty-Ann.

 ”Mom! Come one we’re trying to enjoy our dessert. I don’t want to hear about Nate’s sperm.” Jared complained. Betty-Ann just put her hands up and said, “Alright, lets talk about something else.” It wasn’t until 10:00 when Betty-Ann released her sons and their significant others from her house so they could get home. “Bye my little boy. Please be careful.” She expressed to Jared while Nathan, Jessie and Jenny were waiting outside. “Night Mama. Love you.” He said hugging her back and giving her a kiss on the cheek. “Stay sweet, honey.”

 Jared let out a breath that he realized that he was holding in as he made his way over to his car. He bid adieu to his brother and sister in law. “We should meet up with Caleb and Coleman at Loser’s some night, okay?” Nathan suggested. “Alright, see ya. Bye Jessie.” “Bye Jared. Call me tomorrow Jen.” “Okay, bye. Be careful getting home you two.” said Jenny and got in Jared’s car who was waiting for it to heat up. He looked in the rearview mirror and noticed that Nathan and Jessie were gone.

 ”That had to have been the longest night of my life.” Jared spoke as he drove away from his Mother’s house. Jenny giggled and nodded in agreement. “Your Mama is so cute though. She means well.” Jenny stated. “I know but she can be too much sometimes.” Jared said in return. There was a brief silence between the two while Jared drove Jenny home. The silence was bugging him. He looked over at his girlfriend to see that she was resting her head on the window with her eyes closed.

 ”Are you tired?” He asked. “Yeah, very tired. I didn’t expect dinner with your family would take a lot out of me.” Jenny replied. “That it does. So what did you and my Mom talk about when you helped her get the desserts?” Jared nonchalantly asked. Jenny just smiled at him. “What? Seriously what did she tell you?” Jared was about to have a panic attack. “Nothing much.” Jenny said with that smile still plastered on her face. “Come on tell me?” “Jared you worry way too much. She had nothing but good things to say about you. Your Mama would never trash talk you. You’re her favorite.” Jenny pointed out.

 Jared didn’t pry and further. He knew that Jenny wouldn’t lie to him and that his Mother wouldn’t say anything negative towards him. ‘I need to learn to trust people more. Especially towards the ones who mean a lot to me.’ He said to himself as he pulled up in front of Jenny’s house. As he was about to walk Jenny to her door she grabbed him by the arm and asked, “Do you want spend the night here?” That perked Jared right up. He looked at Jenny to see that she was waiting for him to answer her. “Um…I guess so…I mean if you want me to than okay. Are you sure?” He asked her. “Yeah, I mean its late and the roads are icy. Plus it looks like you’re about to fall asleep at the wheel. You could sleep on the couch if it makes you more comfortable.” Jared looked away from her. He didn’t want to sleep on the couch. He wanted to sleep next to Jenny. He wanted to see what she wore to bed. He wanted her next to him while he slept.

 ”Do you want me to sleep on the couch?” Jared asked her honestly. “No… but I’m scared.” Jenny confessed. “Scared of what? Of me?” “Yes. I’m scared of you and the things that I want to do to you. Hell, I’m scared of the things that I would let you do to me. Its not normal.” Jenny covered her face in embarrassment. Jared grabbed her hands from her face. “Hey, come on, you don’t have anything to be embarrassed about. We’re in this together, remember. We’ll just ease into it, you know. Tonight doesn’t have to be the night. I’ll sleep over and keep you warm, okay?” Jared mentioned and kissed Jenny on the lips. “Okay.” She smiled and got out of the car with Jared following suit.

   “Is anyone else home?” Jared asked as he stepped inside the house. “Yeah, Sue is home but by the looks of it is probably already in bed.” Jenny lead Jared to her room and closed the door after him. “What are you going to sleep in?” Jenny asked him as she began taking off her shoes. “Well, I usually sleep in the nude but for you I’ll keep my undies on.” Jenny just rolled her eyes and got out her sleep attire. She left the room and came back with a toothbrush that was still in its package. “Here, I know you’re a clean freak.” She said as she gave Jared the toothbrush. “Thank you. I’ll be right back.” Jared made his way into the bathroom to brush his teeth but first he had to relieve himself.

 He wasn’t too nervous about spending the night with Jenny. In fact he was anxious to find out her sleeping habits. Like did she snore, does she have restless leg syndrome, is she a blanket hog, does she stay on her side of the bed or God forbid, does she fart while she sleeps. Jared was eager to find out. In truth if Jenny did indeed do all of those things tonight Jared wouldn’t care. He liked her too much to allow stupid things to get in the way of his feelings towards her. ’I maybe shallow but I am not that shallow.’

 Jared brushed his teeth and went back into Jenny’s room where he saw that she had already gotten undressed and was in her pajamas, boy shorts and a long T-shirt. “Damn, I missed you getting undressed.” Jared smirked and winked at her. “And right now I’m leaving you alone to get undressed by yourself.” “You don’t have to leave. I’ll give you a little striptease.” Jared gave a little dance while he took off his tie. “Don’t tempt me. I’ll be back. I gotta pee like a race horse.” Jenny said as she did the ‘Pee Dance.’ Jared watched her close the door. He undressed himself and put his clothes in a neat pile on her desk chair.

 ”This has to be the first time that I’m in a girls room, in my underwear and I’m not going to have sex.” Jared said aloud to no one. He got under the covers and waited for Jenny to return. He looked at the other side of the bed. The side that Jenny would be occupying. ‘This bed is kind of small. What size is it? Probably no bigger than a double. Well compared to my king size bed everything is smaller.’ Then he looked over at Jenny’s night stand. Nothing but a lamp, an alarm clock, a couple of books and her Ipod were on there. Jared was tempted to take a peek in her side drawer. ‘It couldn’t hurt to see if she has anything interesting in there.’ Jared was just about to take a look inside when he heard the doorknob turn and Jenny appeared with two bottles of water.

 ”I got you some water just incase you get thirsty in the night.” She said as she crawled into bed next to him and gave him the bottled water. “Thanks.” He took a sip and placed the bottle on the floor. “Are you warm enough?” Jenny asked. “I’ll be fine.” “No, I’ll get you another blanket.” Jenny insisted and went in her closet to find an extra blanket. “Jenny really, I’m fine. You don’t have to fuss.” She ignored Jared and tossed the extra blanket to him which he quietly excepted.

   Jenny got under the covers and turned on the TV. “You don’t mind if I watch some TV before I got to sleep?” “Your bedroom, your rules.” Jared said as made himself comfortable. He rested his head on Jenny’s shoulder and closed his eyes. As he was about to drift off to sleep Jenny all of a sudden spoke up, “Jared, I was meaning to tell you this earlier. I’m going up to Seattle for a few days to visit my friend Reid. He’s one of my band mates. I’ll probably be staying with him while I’m there.” Jared sat up to meet her eye level.

 ”I knew you going to Seattle. Jessie kind of spilled the beans at dinner when you were with my Mom. How long are you going to be gone?” He asked. “Not that long. Probably no more than 4 or 5 days. I leave on Friday.” “Friday? That’s two days from now.” Jared slumped down on the bed and crossed his arms. He was pouting and he didn’t care.

 Jenny didn’t say a word as she rested her head by his shoulder. Jared couldn’t look at her. He knew if he did he would get lost in her green eyes and melt into her puppy dog stare. “Jared, come on. Don’t be grouch.” She said as she started giving him kisses that went from his neck to his jaw.

 Jared tried with all of his strength to not give into her. Jenny uncrossed his arms and got on top of him planting wet kissed up and down his smooth chest. She licked his nipple and bit down which caused him to moan in excitement. He let out a breath when he felt one of Jenny’s hands around his now erect member and started massaging it. Up and down Jared felt her hand go. Her thumb rubbing his tip.

 She went faster and faster as his breathing became heavier. He looked at her. She was focused and determined to pleasure him. Soon enough he released himself and rested his head on the pillow trying to control his breathing. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Jenny wipe her hand with some facial tissue she that she got out of her side drawer and offered him some. He accepted and wiped the excess seamen off of him.

 ”What was I upset about before?” Jared teased. In truth he wasn’t upset about Jenny having to leave. ‘I should pretend to be upset more often if it means I get a free hand job.’ “Come with me.” Jenny offered. Jared looked at her to see if she was being serious. “You want me to go to Seattle with you?” Jared restated the question. “Don’t act like you weren’t gonna suggest going with me when Jessie mentioned it. Come on, it would fun. Definitely more fun than being stuck here. I know your itching to get out of Nashville for a few days.” Jared knew she was right. He was growing tired of Nashville. He needed some much needed adventure in his life at the moment. “You really want me to go?” Jared just wanted to be sure. “I wouldn’t suggested it if I didn’t want you to go.” Jenny said with a laugh.

 ”Alright, I’ll go but on these conditions and please do not argue with me on these.” Jared warned. “Okay. What are these conditions you have?” “That 1.) I pay for the plane tickets. I’m a snob. I like to be in first class and 2.) We stay in a hotel that way when you hangout with your friend I have my own space to hangout in. Fair?” “I guess. Oh, this going to be so much fun Jared. Just think of all the record stores they have there. Its gonna be like heaven. We have to go to Pike Place Market cause they have these donuts holes that you can get hot and fresh. They sprinkle them with powder sugar. They are so good. Uwajimaya!! We have to go there.” Jenny expressed with such enthusiasm that Jared couldn’t suppress his laughter any longer. “What the hell is Uwajii…what the hell is it called? “Uwajimaya. Its a Japanese market. They have some really cool stuff their like Bubble Tea. Have you ever had that?” “No, I can’t say that I have.” “Its so good. Seriously one sip and you’ll fall in love with Bubble Tea.” “I’ll hold you to that. I’m actually starting to get excited myself. I’ve been to Seattle a couple of time but never really had the chance to see what they have to offer.” Jared admitted as he closed his eyes and pulled the blankets closer to him. Jenny caught sight of this and turned of the TV and nestled her head on the pillow. She gave Jared a kiss on the lips and turned on her side away from him. “Jared.” said Jenny. “Yeah.” replied Jared. “I just wanted to let you know that I have been told that I snore. So fair warning.”
